Family STEM Events & Community Festivals
Adventure Science Center is your partner for hosting large-scale STEM celebrations at your school for students and families. Choose one theme and the Science Center will set up exciting hands-on/minds-on stations. Schools provide the activity space, tables and volunteer assistance, and the Science Center brings the materials. Choose either a four- or ten-station event.
Fuel Up! – Renewable Energy
Explore wind, solar, biofuel and alternative fuels and learn how technology is changing to help the environment. read more →
Engineer, Build and Test It!
Design, build and test a structure to see how much stress it will support. Revise and test new designs to improve the results. read more →
Nano – Science of the Small, but Powerful
Did you know that large and small pieces of gold have different colors? Explore how properties of matter often change and behave differently when objects are very small; and discover how nanoscale science, engineering, and technology lead to new knowledge and innovations.
